Clean Water

An estimated 663M people across the world lack access to potable, safe drinking water. Majority of them rely on surface water sourced from lakes, rivers, dams, unprotected wells or springs for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene. Approximately 20% of these 663M live in South Asia and over half of the remaining live in Africa. 80% of those without access to clean water are located in rural areas.

The Javat Foundation is committed to changing this status quo by providing suitable water filtration systems in rural Pakistan. 64% of Pakistan's population lives in rural areas, of which only 15 % have water connections inside their homes. The rest rely on physical collection of water from outside water sources. Our team is dedicated to implementing Reverse Osmosis water treatment aimed at delivering drinkable wate
